I thought this was the best thread I know to post this. My partner's brother passed away and was found on Monday. I find it very sad 🥹 as he was the same age as me (64). My sister passed away at my age too. Makes me feel the mortality of life. Is this okay to post? I hope this doesn't trigger anyone!

Good morning @Kashmina I'm okay. It was just a shock!

I just went to the shop and got four boxes decaf coffee tubes (200 latte) so am having one of them. I got two cartons of mango yogurt (16 small tubs) and a heap of chewing gum as I chew all the time! I'm getting ready for a camp this weekend which requires you to bring your own meals. I'm hoping there's a microwave for my Meals on Wheels meals.

I've got a deluxe swag with a queen bed and kitchenette in it! Unfortunately, it's supposed to be raining but that won't stop me. I'm getting a lift as I get nervous driving where I haven't been before, especially in the rain. I've been through a catastrophic flood, and I don't like when it's raining. I know we need rain, but it frightens me now. PTSD. Have you got any plans for the day?

Love that you are going camping! Sounds like a lot of fun. What are your plans once you are there? And it is good you are getting someone to drive you there.

I havent been camping for years. I would love to buy a swag and just go on my own but I would find that a bit too scary. I am guessing you are going with others. What state are you in? And the rain sounds great, I guess as long as it is not too heavy 🌦

Since I withdrew from my course I have made a promise to myself to look after myself better and I feel so much better now that I am not doing the course. So I have been for a walk and doing some house stuff. Bought a pork hock so I am going to make a ham and vegetable stew and just potter around here today. I have a shift at the theatre tonight so I will make it and relax until then 😊

It's a church camp @Kashmina It will be a good time to get to know some people more. I don't know many people in church. They all know my name, which is a little disconcerting since I don't know many of theirs. I've never been glamping before so I'm looking forward to it! I wouldn't go on my own either. I'm on the NSW north coast. My rented house got washed out in the flood, so I have been transferred an hour away. I like where I am now but miss my friends and my son's dog! 😁

I'm glad you're feeling better now that you're not doing the course! I'm happy that you're making yourself your priority, after your son. You sound like you've got your day planned out. It's going to be a long day for me as I've got nothing on (not literally). 😉 Do you get to see all the new movies at the theatre? I haven't been to the movies in many years. I don't like going to places by myself. I'm a scaredy cat and I don't watch much TV either, as it can bring me down. There's too much bad news on there. I do listen to a lot of music though. Mostly older stuff. My favourite band is Fleetwood Mac, and I love the Motown songs. I'm a 70's teenager and love all the old songs. I don't listen to today's music. What genre of music are you into? 💛
