@heartathome Hello lovely how are you? I’m really sorry you had a long and lonely day yesterday. I am hoping that today will be better for you and I’m here online to help keep you company. Do you have any plans today?
It’s such a hard thing for me. M I’m really struggling with everything and food is one of those things. I just can’t do it. I have a small amount at night. Yes this feeling of just existing is awful to live with. Can’t believe how much the taper is affecting me.

Hello @Cuddlebear ,Thanks for thinking of me! By the way I love your name. Do you like hugs? I spoke to my psych this morning, which went well. I'm going to see a friend play ukulele soon and then have the SANE recovery group on later this afternoon. That will keep me occupied for the day. How long have you been tapering off the medication for now? I'm shocked that's it's been affecting you physically like this for so long! It must have been a very heavy-duty drug! I'm not shocked at how it's affecting you mentally! It would affect anyone! Sending hugs and much love 💛

Hello @Cuddlebear my sweet, today isn't a good day. The medication is giving me some really intense SI (I'm safe) and I'm struggling with being tired and having a headache for the 3rd day in a row. I've been laying on my lounge with Casper today just resting. How are you going sweet?

@heartathome Hello 🙂 How was the ukulele? It’s such an awesome instrument. Is it a concert? How are you today? I hope today is much better than yesterday.
Yes I love hugs. One of my favourite things in the world. 🙂
Ive been tapering since November 25. I was on a very high dose of the antidepressant so they reduce it slowly. They don’t reduce the whole at once. So every time it goes down it compounds the withdrawals. You can’t just reduce it all at once it’s very medically unsafe. I still have more to drop before I can start new medicine which takes 6-8 weeks to fully work. It’s a long process and I’m exhausted.Yes it’s a heavy duty drug. Considered the hardest medically speaking.

@Dreamy It’s so good kid to hear from you. I’m am sorry the medication is having a side affect of SI and headaches plus tiredness too. I’m really honestly proud of you for getting through this each day and each hour. I realise how hard that is I really do. I wish I could just take it all away and have you feeling happy and yourself. These medicines have this side effect when starting them or going off them. For the vast majority of people they go away as your brain adjusts. This will not be like this forever. You will heal but right now I do understand how hard it is to cope especially after everything you’ve been through.
Im glad you have Caspar with you and that you a taking it easy.
I too am much the same. I have passive SI as well but I’m safe. My body is so fatigued with so many withdrawal symptoms and I’m struggling. So many people just don’t understand. It’s terribly hard.

'Ive been tapering since November 25' That's only 13 days! I think it's been longer than that. Ukulele was okay @Cuddlebear There is a local group that practices each week, and my friend is a part of it. I was glad to get out for a while! I took a thermos and had a cuppa while down there. It was good. 🙂 The recovery group was small but good today. It was about motivation and something I heard is going to stick. Instead of saying 'I should/ need to/ have to' etc say, 'I get to do this'. I don't know whether that's going to work with my lack of motivation to walk but I like the saying. I also get to try to be more grateful for what I can do! Thanks' for reaching out Cuddlebear. It is much appreciated! 💛
