Re: ~ The Toolshed ~

@Dreamy  I totally get it. I live that truth everyday.

People who knew me before don’t understand.

No one understands unless they have lived it.

You can’t physically do it. It’s like expecting a one legged person to sprint and then getting angry at them because they can’t do it.

Re: ~ The Toolshed ~

@Glisten exactly those that haven't been through it don't understand.

My brain just bounces from one thing to another so it's helpful to have many projects on the go and that way I've always got something to do.

That analogy is perfect and so true.

Re: ~ The Toolshed ~

@ENKELI  sleeping until midday would freak me out and mess with my body clock so badly.

Think I might start my Friday with a sauna. I need to sweat these croissants out.

Hey if I say “croissant“ to Google with a French accent, it doesn’t understand me. But if I use a nasal Australian accent it knows what I’m saying 😂  BAHAHA

Re: ~ The Toolshed ~

@Glisten I always live with a few hours of guilt if I'm not out of bed by 10am at the latest. I have my alarm set for 8.30 each morning but part of feeling so blah lately I haven't had the energy or desire to get up.

That I'm wanting to get up at 8.30 is proof I'm feeling better so I need to keep the momentum going.

I'm trying to get into the habit of doing some bible study in the morning so that is good incentive to get up early.

I envy you your sauna. My shoulders have been giving me so much pain lately I would love some sauna time.

That's hilarious about Google. I'm going to try speaking Finnish at it, see what it comes back with! 🤣

Re: ~ The Toolshed ~

@Dreamy  I like a bit of muddle 😊

Re: ~ The Toolshed ~

Thanks @Dreamy I particularly like the last one about muddling through and "good enough". 😊

@ENKELI @Glisten i book appointments for 9am or 10am on non-work days sometimes as a way to get myself out of bed. 😉 because I very strongly dislike cancelling or rescheduling appointments! So I will always make sure I am on time and there lol. Sometimes I dislike my past self for it lol. But I know its good for me. Otherwise the dogs would be getting me up anyway.

Re: ~ The Toolshed ~

@AlwaysMyself @Glisten there's nothing like just muddling through but if that's what it takes to get through then that is indeed good enough ☺️

Re: ~ The Toolshed ~

Hi @Dreamy I just heard back and now I can now book an appointment to have a session with a social worker!! Lucky I was told that they can help me with the application!! 😊

I think I’m on the verge of transferring the degree, now I just need to think about what certain units/subjects I need or want to pick for next trimester that fits the social science degree whilst I’m still on my current one.

I just realised that someone mentioned that during your 3rd year in uni (especially in the 3rd year major/core units) lecturers tend to be more harsh in marking assessments? I think this goes for every degree sadly but I hope in social science, the units will be easier for me than the ones in psychology are and will be.

Re: ~ The Toolshed ~

@ENKELI doing your Bible study in the morning is a WONDERFUL way to start your day!
Can you feel that? I’m poking you with a stick of love and encouragement 🥰

With your Health Care card, it costs less than $10 for a sauna. Get your shoulder in there woman❣️

It’s the only reason my muscle tear mended so quickly.

Avoid the middle of the day Population Peak Period.

Google voice to text 😂 I wish I was there when you speak Finnish 🇫🇮
