@Captain24 Hey hun I am sitting with you. So sorry that you're feeling so awful right now. If your chest pains are really intense, do you think you could need medical attention? Might be worth seriously considering.

Hi @Jynx
I hope you have had a good day.
I don’t think I’ll get the pains checked. It’ll be fine. I wouldn’t be lucky enough for it to be serious.

@Captain24 Pretty chill day here, been soaking up some sun.
I'm sorry things are so bad for you right now. Do you wanna chat about something else and try to distract? I'm happy to sit with you for a while if you'd like 💜

Distraction sounds good @Jynx.
It was sunny here but not very warm. So I didn’t go out. But I’ll go and lay in it tomorrow. Cold or not. I find it helps being in the sun. Plus I need to work on my tan for shorts weather

@Captain24 Got up to 22 here today, but now the sun is starting to dip it's already pretty chilly! Definitely helps being in the sun, I got told I have a vitamin D deficiency last doc visit so I deffo gotta spend some solid hours lazing in the sun.
Haha yeah my legs are so pasty they could blind you if I'm not careful 😂
Do you like summer? Are you a beach person?

Spending time in the sun must be so hard @Jynx 😂. At least it’s an enjoyable way to increase Vit D.
I absolutely love summer. The hotter the better. I spent a lot of time in it last summer and got pretty tanned. So I’m not actually pasty white.
I love the beach but I live 4 hrs inland. So all holidays are to the beach. Depending on dad’s treatment we are heading to the coast in November. If my mood doesn’t lift I might take Pix over on one of my breaks.
What’s your favourite season? Do you like the beach?

Definitely been too much of a hermit this winter @Captain24 - but I have bought myself some vitamin D gummies and been laying naked in the sun each time it's been streaming into my loungeroom of a morning so hopefully will be back up to scratch soon!
Ach that's rough, 4 hours away from the beach! Glad you get the chance to holiday there tho. I'm sure Pix goes nuts there, right? Jumping over waves, chasing seagulls, sniffing all the random washed up ocean life 😋
My fav season is Autumn for sure, love the way the leaves change down here and it's not too hot, not too cold. I don't function well in the heat unfortunately 😥
But I do love the beach! My family were big beach-goers growing up, used to stay in a caravan park almost every weekend. Dad was huge into fishing and surfing, and it's pretty much the best way to get relief in summer, jumping into the surf.

I’ll lay out in the backyard naked for the next 2 days @Jynx. I’ll do it every day off. At least you can get gummies as apposed to normal vitamins. Have they helped increase it?
Im the one that’s out mowing their lawn in the hottest part of the day when it’s 40+ degrees.
Pix loves the beach! She usually only goes in to her belly and not deeper. It’s funny when a wave comes through and gets her though. Her favourite thing to do is climb on the rocks in the shallow water. I just take her lead off and let her run.
As kids we only went to the beach a handful of times. It was just too expensive and we didn’t have much money.
What a way to grow up. Beaching every weekend! That would be some awesome childhood memories
I like the look of autumn. The changing leaves and Pix loves running through all the ones on the ground! I just don’t like the cold. My mood is always better in the heat.

Haha @Captain24 we are opposites, I get so cranky in the heat! I hate being sweaty, and I always say at least in winter you can add layers, in summer the heat feels inescapable. But beach is always nice, especially when there's a sea breeze!
I only just found out about the vit D so I'm not sure yet, doc just said to take a supplement for about 6 months so will have to wait and see. It'll also be a lot easier to get some sunshine now the weather is warming up.
Yeah was really lucky, I grew up in a country town that was about half an hour from the coast. Can totally understand that if it's a trek and you don't have cheap/accessible accommodation, it would be more like a holiday trip to save for rather than just a little weekend getaway. Do you get to go to the beach much these days?
Hehe me and Pix both! I love running through piles of crunchy leaves and kicking them around. It's like jumping in puddles but without the soggy aftermath!
I think rainforest is my favourite environ, I just love being amongst the giant mossy trees and tangly vines. Do you have any nice bushwalks or patches of rainforest near you?
Here's a couple pics I took last time I went for little rainforest jaunt 😊
