Nah I haven't - is it anything like Gin Rummy? Or as wee Jynx used to call it, Gym Runny 😅 (which also used to confuse me cos like... there's no running in the game! lol)

haha…. One could think it’s something to do with gin and rum…. Drinking game perhaps? But not for kids!

I’m so tired. Physically and mentally. My friend and I took my d and her granddaughter to a splash park today. It was a really lovely day, sun got a bit too hot for my liking and the girls wore me out running from one section to the other and then back for snacks and all over the place. 

I crashed on my bed as soon as we got home and haven’t moved. Watching a movie and have just finished my art that I started yesterday.

Ohhhh wow @Bow that artwork is tripping me out! In the best way! Did you do the stencils first or the writing? It looks like a nebula!! If you flickered some speckles of white paint on there, it'd look like the night sky 😍 I mean, if that goes with the vibe!! So pretty 😊

Haha oh I bet you crashed out, what a heckin ripper of a day! Sounds like your D had a hoot tho!! She similarly kaput?

@Jynx  i had to google a nebula! But yes, I’ve actually done some of them as watercolours. I did the watercolour on this first and then the writing- gave myself a writers cramp! 

splash park was fun, daughter has been on her iPad since we got home. Maybe she’ll go to bed early!

The splash park is actually pretty epic. Newly opened…. Took them many many years to build though! Covid slowed it down a lot. It’s free entry (at the moment) but you need a ticket. It’s got 2 pool areas- decent sized too and lots of splash areas and squirting things. It has lifeguards. A lot of people complained about it while it was being built, but it was pretty busy today and as long as the council keep it clean and don’t charge too much, then I think it’ll be pretty good. Oh and it had a family of ducks! 2 parents and 6 little ducklings. Probably not very hygienic with them pooping everywhere.
