Re: not coping

Ohhh @outlander

You just put a huge smile on my face!!

So good to see you on here. How are you going?

Re: not coping

ive been in hospital for quite some time for mental health unfortunalty but i had a meeting to reapply for ndis today. im hoping theres some good news sooner rather then later.
preparing for another surgery in a few days but for now just resting at home and doing some light duties. ive really had to restrict who im able to help at work. its hard to accept but at this point my state is to fragile to continue with such high care and high risk people. i hope itll change again soon but for now just working where i can trying to stay afloat with bills

how are you both going? it feels way to long since weve chatted and caught up. its been hard to come back

@Snowie @Eve7

Re: not coping

I'm sorry about the hospital stay @outlander but very glad you were getting help hon.

I hope things with ndis can be sorted out quickly.

No doubt it was hard to come back, but I am so glad you checked in.

Overall I'm ok. Up's and downs like everyone but slowly getting there.

Re: not coping

I am sorry about your mh admission @outlander I do hope it was helpful. I really hope you get a positive outcome with ndis this time 👍

Im in a bit of a complicated situation at present but I’m safe.

It is just so good seeing you on here again.

Re: not coping

Gentle Hugs @outlander

it is really good to hear from you, but I am sorry you have so much going on with psych hospital stay and surgery. It is alright if you prioritise your care. It is essential. You deserve it. I know you’re used to doing the giving, but please look after you. I hope NDIS works out.

Re: not coping

its been a stressful stay to say the least @Eve7 @Snowie @Appleblossom
the mh team are starting to think i do have a schitzo affective type disorder as well as bpd cptsd and the rest. im stable enough to go home but at the moment we have to continue to monitor symptoms and for once they are taking me seriously when i say there is something wrong. the new medications do seem to be helping though thankfully!
unoffically diagnosed at the moment so havent been able to add it to ndis but hoping i have enough evidence for my current conditions.
thankfully this will be my last surgery for the next year or so! just gotta get through this one and then i think ill plan for a holiday for the end of next year. i think after the last few months of injuries and illness surgeries etc a holiday away from all of that is needed!

@Snowie im sorry your struggling. ups and downs are so difficult hey. how is everything going with your mum now in full time care? (i hope i have that right!?)

@Eve7 im glad to know your safe. im sorry i havent kept up with anything at present

@Appleblossom i love those pictures! i think i need a holiday by the water!

Re: not coping

I think a holiday is a great idea @outlander especially after all you have gone through.

Hopefully an official diagnosis will help you get the help you deserve.

Yes in full time care now. About 5 mins from where I live.

Her memory is going downhill quite quickly.

Re: not coping

theres a place a few hours north west of me that i wouldt mind going to for a few days around november when they hold flower and light festivals and other activities so i think ill save up and go there.

im sorry your mums memory has gone down hill quite fast. dementia is a hard disease to manage, live with and support loved ones who have it. i hope she has some better days ahead

Re: not coping

That sounds like a great place to go @outlander for a bit of a rest and some 'me' time.

At least she still knows us for now.

Re: not coping

Sounds like a beautiful place to visit @outlander
