Re: I can’t cope

Hey @tyme

not particularly, but I’m surviving…

how are you?

Re: I can’t cope

I actually suggested it on the co-design survey! @Bow Im trying too. I also got in so much trouble. That’s one of the reasons I left a little while ago. I felt like I didn’t belong and was unwanted.

Im devastated. When I lost my old dog I had to take time off too. I can home from work one morning and she had sent herself to rainbow bridge. I was a mess. When I called in sick I was sobbing.

Some of my plants are dying. I don’t know what I’m doing wrong but my CM suggested watering them with seasol. The first part of my email today was my garden. Then what was happening with me! Lol. So I’m going into town to get some and I will spend some time watering them. That will be a little distraction.

Tomorrow I will make and appt to see her in the morning. Then I have lunch with a friend and have an appt with my new dietitian via Telehealth. So that should keep me busy until it’s time.

Friday I have to travel 2 hrs to a dermatologist appt. It’ll be the first time I have left Pixie at home alone for so long. But mum won’t be up for babysitting.

So I have a bit going on to get through it all. I don’t think I’ve ever been so busy!

I will take the referral form with me. She is really rough and doesn’t pull any punches so I will have to get it done.

Re: I can’t cope

Thank you all @Bow @Snowie @tyme @Jynx

It’s going to be so hard. I just went to the supermarket, thinking at this time of night no one will be there. How wrong was I. A lady that’s known me all my life and I used to call her mum Aunt … asked me how mums dog was. I just cried.

Anyhow.. I’m up for a distraction if anyone wants to.

Re: I can’t cope

Your plants will love you after some seasol @Captain24  mine are probably due for some too. I’m trying to remember to water mine!

sorry to hear that you have been crying!

Re: I can’t cope

That's super rough @Captain24 I'm sorry you had that reminder come barrelling into your evening.

You could pop over to the MHAM post, I just chucked a new question up so you could always use that as a distraction?

Can also chat with you about stuff here 😉

Re: I can’t cope

It’s all good @Bow. It’ll happen often. Im sure I will get asked a lot about Angel. I have to go to the markets on Saturday and tell the dog treat man. Mum can’t do it. Everyone around town knows mum, dad and Angel!

Im hoping seasol will work. I think one is beyond saving. But I’m sure my CM will give me a clipping of hers. She is a keen gardener. She was the reason I redid it all. I’ve been really good at watering. I’ve been doing it early in the morning and early evening. The only problem is my day shifts.

I have 20 buds on my roses my gazenias are thriving, my azaleas are doing ok. My Pom Pom tree has 2 Pom poms on it. It’s just my daisies that I’m having trouble with. But they get full sunlight all day. So I guess I’m doing some things right.

Im worried about when I go away though. Im going to try and set up a sprinkler in a timer and hope it works.

Re: I can’t cope

Chatting sounds good @Jynx

What have you been upto?

Re: I can’t cope

@Captain24 hmmm... went for a lovely walk on the weekend with some of my friends. It was super rainy, but that meant it was also really misty, and made it seem really ethereal. Here's a lil pic:

Do you like the rainforest?

Re: I can’t cope

Wow that’s stunning @Jynx.

Ive only been to one and it was beautiful. There isn’t any close by.

The closest we have is a wetlands and there is a forest walk too. But not in this weather too many brownies.

I would love some rain around here.

Re: I can’t cope

My fav rainforest is up in QLD, it's called Lamington National Park. Soooo lush. I think I love rainforests because they're just so full of moss, and fungi, and soooo many birds. The rainforest in Tassie is also beautiful, well worth a visit if you ever get down there.

Hope you get some rain too @Captain24! Really brings the whole landscape to life hey.
